Jason has 42 erasers and Richie has 30 erasers. After Jason gave some of his erasers to Richie, the number of game cards they have are in the ratio 1 : 2. How many erasers does Richie have in the end?
Total erasers = 42 + 30 = 72
Since number of erasers exchanged is between the same two persons, the total remains unchanged ie. 1u + 2u = 72
3u = 72
1u = 24
In the end, Richie has 2u >>> 2 x 24 = 48 erasers (Answer)
